Every hammock comes with care recommendations, but they are super sturdy and easy to care for! Our Signature + Hanging Chair Hammocks are made from a weather-safe Performance Yarn that can be left out in the sun + rain with no worries about fading, mildew, etc. (We call these ones "lazy-proof" because you can leave them out all season!) The most important precaution of hammock-care is to avoid snagging the yarn with sharp objects, hooks, jewelry, buttons, etc.

Cotton Rope Hammocks are intended for indoor or selective outdoor use. For outdoor best practice, we recommend that our customers use the hammock and then safely store it, to protect the natural fibers from the elements when not in use.

The Vista, Hammock Stand, and Hammock Throne were all designed to be used indoors or outdoors without issue.
